The Little Dragons Playgroup has been in existance since January 1988 and caters for children aged from 2 ½ to 5 year olds during term time only. The Playgroup offers an alternative to full nursery care and provides a stimulating and friendly atmosphere in which each child feels secure and uninhibited. Children learn so much through play, and their interaction with others helps to provide a good basis for their social skills in the years ahead.
Sessions: Term time only9am to 12noon and 12.45pm to 3.45pm Monday to Friday
StaffingThere are 4 staff members qualified to level III on duty for a maximum of 22 children each session.
Annual Events
Each term the Playgroup staff organise coffee mornings, afternoon tea, a sports day in the summer term, a summer trip and a Christmas party together with an entertainer. To complete each year the parents are invited along to watch their children perform their own special Christmas Concert.
